One Thursday afternoon I was sitting in my truck thinking, "What's the best thing that I can give to people? What do I care most about?" At the time I was window cleaning. The answer was clean water. But the path was still unclear. The following week, I was serendipitously offered a director of sales position for a water purification company. I turned it down since I still wanted to run my own business, but I took the coincidence as a sign. About a week later, I heard news of a proposed injection well in Sumter County. I began advocating against it, as it could very well contaminate our aquifer (Floridians' water supply) with toxic waste. Later that day, I found out my longtime business partner and mentee began working with a reverse osmosis and water softener manufacturer in Texas. I reached out to learn more, and it made sense for me to open up a Central Florida location.
